(EN) Drought indices represent water deficit (or surplus) relative to historical data. The project, SiccITàLY, was designed and developed using Google Earth Engine (GEE), based on scripts provided by the NASA-ARSET program and supported by Generative Artificial Intelligence.This new open data service aims to assist government authorities in making informed decisions on water resource management by analyzing the frequency, severity, and duration of drought events over specific areas and time periods.
