Michigan Compost Facilities

This data is used in the Materials Management Facilities Web App (Item Details). Municipal and commercial yard waste composting facilities with over 200 cubic yards of materials must register with EGLE per section 11521 of Part 115 of the NREPA. These facilities must meet the requirements of section 11521(4). A current list of Registered Composting Facilities can be found at the EGLE Composting website. This data is refreshed from the Waste Data System on a daily basis.
