Compared to the national average of 4,119 yen, the 1kg of cherries in Sendai City is being sold at a price 1,396 yen lower than the national average. During the period from January 2015 to July 2024 (over the past 20 months), the month with the highest cherry price in Sendai City's supermarkets was June 2021, with a price of 3,641 yen, and conversely, the month with the lowest cherry price was July 2015, with a price of 1,657 yen. The price difference between the peak period (June 2021) and the lowest price period (July 2015) of cherries in the Sendai City area is 1,396 yen.
