Israel Seismic Network three-component waveform dataset for earthquake–explosion discrimination
收藏资源简介:
Three-component seismic waveform windows for earthquake vs. explosion source discrimination, recorded by the Israel Seismic Network (ISN) and provided by the Geological Survey of Israel (GSI). The dataset contains 9,105 windows (4,065 earthquake, 5,040 explosion) from 1,096 events recorded at 12 stations in the Dead Sea Transform region, split at the event level into disjoint training (6,334 windows), validation (1,444), and test (1,327) sets. Each window is 3.0 s (600 samples at 200 Hz) on the Z, N, and E components, stored in HDF5 with a per-window class label (0 = earthquake, 1 = explosion), event ID, and station code. Station coordinates and machine-readable acquisition metadata are included. The data are shared with the permission of the Geological Survey of Israel and accompany the paper "Reproducible, CPU-Efficient Earthquake–Explosion Discrimination with a Frequency-Domain FastMap–SVM Ensemble"; the source code that reproduces all results is at https://github.com/yfrist96/seismic-event-classifier (MIT License). See README.md for full structure and a usage example.
