Genome sequencing of leaf-associated commensal Pseudomonas strains in the Arabidopsis phyllosphere

This study presents whole genome sequences of twelve commensal Pseudomonas strains isolated from Arabidopsis thaliana leaves. These strains were used to investigate siderophore-mediated microbial cooperation in the phyllosphere microbiome. The isolates represent diverse Pseudomonas species (P. koreensis, P. moraviensis, P. siliginis, and P. viridiflava) collected from locations in Germany (Kirchentellinsfurt, Ergenzingen) and Poland (Gorzów) between 2019 and 2022. Sequencing was performed on Illumina NovaSeq X Plus (2Ã151 bp) at CeGaT, Tübingen. Assemblies generated with SPAdes and annotated with Bakta. This study presents whole genome sequences of twelve commensal Pseudomonas strains isolated from Arabidopsis thaliana leaves.
