Accounts used for retirement savings in the U.S. 2021

In 2021, roughly 77 percent of surveyed parents in the United States had a 401(k) plan for retirement. Meanwhile, regular savings accounts were the second most popular type of retirement savings accounts with 67 percent relying on them. Meanwhile, the rest of accounts were used by less than a third of surveyed parents.
