We conducted a soil microcosm experiment to probe the effects of short-term exposure to didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (DDAC, a widely used QAC disinfectant in China) and Cu (a common heavy metal contaminant) on the bacterial community in three different soil types (yellow-brown, red, and black soil) and their plastispheres.
