“一带一路”沿线陆域自然地理条件复杂,森林、草原、农田等生态系统多样,具有明显的地带性,区域差异大。森林、草地、农田总面积为3673.52万km2,占监测区域总面积的69.11%。2014年“一带一路”陆域监测区森林总面积为1279.33万km2,占全球森林总面积的35.10%,占监测区域总面积的24.07%,森林地上生物量达1495.03亿t。在监测区域中,森林面积较大的区域为蒙俄区、东南亚区和欧洲区,分别占全区森林总面积的49.64%、27.82%和14.25%。在各森林生态系统中,亚寒带针叶林和热带雨林占森林面积的第一、二位,其中,前者主要分布在俄罗斯与北欧,后者主要分布在东南亚区
The terrestrial areas along the Belt and Road (B&R) Initiative feature complex physical geographical conditions, diverse ecosystems including forests, grasslands and farmlands, distinct zonation and significant regional disparities. The total area of forests, grasslands and farmlands reaches 36.7352 million km², accounting for 69.11% of the total area of the monitoring region. In 2014, the total forest area in the terrestrial monitoring zone of the B&R Initiative was 12.7933 million km², making up 35.10% of the global total forest area and 24.07% of the total area of the monitoring region, with the above-ground forest biomass hitting 149.503 billion tonnes. Among the monitoring region, the areas with large forest areas are the Mongolia-Russia region, Southeast Asia region and Europe region, which account for 49.64%, 27.82% and 14.25% of the total forest area of the entire monitoring zone respectively. Among various forest ecosystems, boreal coniferous forests and tropical rainforests rank first and second in terms of forest area. The former is mainly distributed in Russia and Northern Europe, while the latter is mainly distributed in the Southeast Asia region.
