SDG 16.a.1 Existence of Independent National Human Rights Institutions in Compliance with the Paris Principles

This dataset shows whether the State of Qatar has an independent national human rights institution that complies with the Paris Principles, over the period from 2016 to 2022. The Paris Principles are the international standards that define the mandate, independence, pluralism and resources required for a national human rights institution to be considered credible. The value is recorded as a binary status, where 1 means that such an institution exists and complies with the principles and 0 means that it does not.
