To characterize the accessibility of α-syn to LPC and DOPS, we performed cross-linking experiments coupled with mass spectrometry (XL-MS). We mixed 15N-labeled and unlabeled Ac-α-syn at a 1:1 ratio and selected the cross-linked fragments containing both 15N-labeled and unlabeled Ac-α-syn to map the intermolecular cross-linking pattern.
