SRµCT scan of an aposymbiotic Bathymodiolus
childressi pediveliger. The mussel was sampled at the Mississippi Canyon 853
(28.123 N; -89.139 E) at 1071 m water depth in 2015. The mussel was fixed with
2.5% glutaraldehyde stored in PHEM-buffer. The sample was
scanned at the DESY in Hamburg Germany.
