Detrital zircon U-Pb geochronology data for the Permian Lower Shihezi Formation, Hangjinqi area, northern Ordos Basin

This dataset contains detrital zircon U-Pb geochronology results from 11 sandstone samples (995 concordant ages) of the Permian Lower Shihezi Formation (He-1 Member) in the Hangjinqi area, northern Ordos Basin, China. These data underpin the provenance partitioning and source-to-sink analysis reported in: Source-to-sink evidence for segmented closure of the Paleo-Asian Ocean (Lei et al., manuscript in preparation).
