Replication data for: Emission factors for gaseous species measured at the individual burn level using I-CIMS and Vocus PTR-MS

“This dataset provides replicated emission factors for gaseous species measured during controlled biomass burning experiments using iodide chemical ionization mass spectrometry (I-CIMS) and proton transfer reaction mass spectrometry (Vocus PTR-MS). Emission factors are reported for the entire burning period at the individual burn level for Canadian boreal forest fuels, including Ponderosa pine (wet), mulch (dry and wet), grass (dry), peat with surface moss (dry and wet), peat with surface mulch (dry and wet), and surface material (dry). Emission factors are calculated as the mass of gaseous species emitted per unit mass of fuel burned and include a wide range of trace gases. This work was conducted as part of the Biomass Burning Canada (BBCan) campaign. This dataset is provided as supplementary material to the manuscript titled “Characterization of Trace Gas Emissions from Controlled Laboratory Burning of Canadian Boreal Forest Fuels.”
