This study utilizes the marine medaka (Oryzias melastigma) as a model organism to investigate the effects of exposure to copper nanoparticles (Cu-NPs) of three distinct sizes on gene expression. Through transcriptomic sequencing and analysis of exposed and control groups, the core objectives are: 1) to reveal how variations in nanoparticle size specifically alter genome-wide expression patterns; 2) to identify key differentially expressed genes and signaling pathways (such as oxidative stress, immune response, and metabolic regulation) triggered by Cu-NPs of different sizes; and 3) to establish a molecular signature of toxicity response associated with particle size effects.
