The Industry Enterprise Activity Index is a comprehensive index designed to assess multiple factors including corporate investment dynamics, operational efficiency and development potential for either a specific industry (classified into sections and categories per the National Standard Industrial Classification) or a specific industry within a given region. The Enterprise Activity Index model primarily incorporates three categories of factors: those reflecting enterprise quantity, enterprise survival and enterprise growth. A higher Enterprise Activity Index indicates greater growth potential for enterprises in the relevant industry.
