Replication Package: Cultural Capital in the Digital Age: Genre Signals, Audience Sentiment, and Box Office Returns in China's Film Market

This is the open replication package for the PLOS ONE submission. It contains the cleaned dataset, full replication code, variable definitions, data processing log, and README for full reproducibility of all empirical results (Tables 2–7) in the manuscript. All code runs in Python and reproduces benchmark regressions, mediation analysis, grouped regression, quantile regression, robustness checks, and endogeneity tests as reported in the paper.
