This archive contains the data associated with the manuscript “Inter- and Intrahemispheric Sources of Vestibular Signals to V1” by Guy Bouvier, Alessandro Sanzeni, Elizabeth Hamada, Nicolas Brunel, and Massimo Scanziani. The dataset is provided as a single HDF5 file: vestibular_V1_sources.h5 An HDF5 archive containing neuronal responses, behavioral signals, and metadata, organized into hierarchical groups. /responses/ control: neuronal firing rates during the control condition MSC: responses after muscimol inactivation of the lateral posterior nucleus (LP) LED: responses during optogenetic suppression of contralateral V1 MSC_LED: responses during combined LP muscimol and contralateral V1 suppression Format: (neurons, time_in_trial, trials)Units: firing rate (Hz), computed in 100 ms bins /velocity/ Table velocity traces aligned to each trial Format: (time_in_trial, trials)Units: deg/s, sampled in 100 ms bins /metadata/ info: table of neuron metadata (experiment, brain area, depth, number of cells, etc.) info_columns: column names for reconstructing the info table trial_direction: direction of motion for each trial (clockwise / counterclockwise) time: vector of bin centers (seconds) Trial structure Each trial = 100 bins × 100 ms = 10 seconds Total number of trials = 54 Data are temporally aligned across neurons, velocity, and conditions
