Leading countries in cosmetic surgery in Latin America 2023, by share

In 2023, Brazil accounted for about 13.8 percent of all cosmetic surgery procedures performed worldwide. Meanwhile, Mexico concentrated approximately six percent of the total aesthetic interventions completed globally. That year, the number of cosmetic surgery procedures performed in Brazil amounted to over 2.1 million, the highest number in Latin America.
