Raw and Load-Normalised Traffic Speed Deflectometer (TSD) Datasets for Provincial Route P21 (Km0.000 - Km36.207), KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

This repository contains raw and load-normalised Traffic Speed Deflectometer (TSD) datasets collected on Provincial Route P21 (Km0.000 - Km36.207) in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The repository includes the original TSD survey measurements, processed pavement deflection basin ordinates, and derived pavement structural response parameters, including D₀, Base Layer Index (BLI), Middle Layer Index (MLI), and Lower Layer Index (LLI). The datasets support transparent and reproducible reconstruction of pavement deflection basins from raw slope measurements using trapezoidal numerical integration and load normalisation procedures. Separate worksheets are provided for the positive and negative survey directions, together with route referencing, environmental measurements, load information, quality indicators, and spatial coordinates. This dataset accompanies the associated Data in Brief article and is intended to support validation of TSD processing methodologies, pavement structural assessment, and future research in network-level pavement evaluation.
