The impact of land cover and climate change on habitat suitability of 478 birds in India was modelled under present conditions (2015) and future scenarios (2100). Habitat suitability was modelled by correlating species presence downloaded from Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) with land cover, bioclimatic variables, and elevation predictors. Then, an ensemble of machine learning algorithms - random forest, k-nearest neighbour, artificial neural network, support vector machine, and gradient boosting model - were used to project habitat suitability of each species under present conditions (2015) and future scenarios (2100) under two Shared Socio-economic Pathways (SSP3–7.0 and SSP5–8.5). To promote open data, the results on the projected habitat suitability of the 478 species are accessible as figures (pdf) and spatial data (geotiff). <br>
