This dataset is the supporting dataset for my doctoral thesis. titled “Humility Reduces Objectification: Mechanisms of Psychological Entitlement and Empathy”.The thesis includes nine studies; thus, the main folder includes nine datasets. Participants in each study were recruited online (e.g., Amazon Mturk) and were instructed to complete the questionnaires. Their responses were recorded. Key study variables (e.g., humility and objectification) and participants basic demographic information (e.g., gender, age, and subjective social status) were measured. No personal identification information or confidential contents were recorded. The studies received ethical approval from the Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC; Number: EA200212) at The University of Hong Kong.
