This is the subnucleus-targeting gene expression profiling data of five amygdala-related subnuclei from Prkcd-cre; Ai14 mouse brains 24h after fear conditioning. Microtissues for total RNA extraction were collected using punching needle from cryosectioned mouse brains. For whole transcriptome analysis, sequencing libraries were prepared from total RNA. 150-bp Paired-end sequencing was performed by Illumina Hiseq.
