Genome assembly and Annotation of <i>Populus alba</i> '<i>Berolinensis</i>' L.

<i>Populus alba </i>'<i>Berolinensis</i>' L. is a fast-growing poplar hybrid in the northeast of China. This hybrid poplar is widely used as landscape ornamentals and in forestation of urban areas (e.g., Shenyang city, a heavy industrial area) for good adaptation to the adverse environments. In this project, a high-quality assembly of <i>Populus alba</i> '<i>Berolinensis</i>' L. is established, aiming to uncover the genetic effects on the disease and traits of <i>Populus </i>deeper.<br>The sequencing raw data are publicly available in the NCBI database under project PRJNA635615.
