Smoke Exposure Study

This study investigates the impact of toxic metals and PFAS compounds on the immune system of those individuals with significant known exposures to these substances (i.e., smoke-exposed) versus controls. We introduce a novel method for the detection of toxic metals in immune cells and integrate this with a broader multi-omics approach to understand the immune implications of these exposures.
