This dataset was developed by a research team from the Università della Svizzera italiana (University of Italian Switzerland) and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, with the core objective of exploring the correlation between in-flight uncertainties and flight safety of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). It includes 5,000 sets of simulated flight data, covering UAV flight trajectories, control signals, and safety states in complex environments. All data was generated via the PX4-Autopilot platform, which simulates UAV behaviors during obstacle avoidance missions. Application fields of this dataset cover UAV safety monitoring, real-time behavior prediction, and anomaly detection, aiming to predict and prevent unsafe UAV states through the quantification of uncertainties.
