资源简介:
In therapeutic hyperthermia, one of the main concerns is the determination of tissue temperature with minimum delay. However, studies in this area started from the application of models like pence equation and reached to MRI application in hyperthermia thermometry. Some limitations, such as cost, time, and equipment, recent studies have gravitated to other methods such as Infra-red cameras. Due to the superficial nature of IR thermometry, the goal of this study was to investigate the temperature difference in different regions of tissue while utilizing continuous 1 MHz ultrasound waves at the power of 0.2 to 2 W. Ultrasound hyperthermia in this work was done on chicken breast. At power 2 W, a temperature difference above 8.5 ° C was recorded, which indicates an error above 50% in this thermography method. It was also shown that a high percentage of temperature changes happen at the beginning of irradiation. The results of this study showed that due to significant temperature differences, understanding of the relation between surface and deep tissue temperature could lead to a better and more accurate prediction.
