The present study aimed to reveal the difference of bacterial contamination between the neck, breast and back skin of retail broiler carcasses, through classical International Organization of Standardization based isolation methods combined with matrix-assisted laser desorption ionisation time-of-flight mass spectrum (MALDI-TOF MS) identification and 16S amplicon sequencing.
