Tree-ring width and NDVI resistance and resilience

Dataset containing resistance (RT) and resilience (RS) indices calculated from tree-ring width (TRW) and NDVI time series for selected drought events (defined by SEASON and YEAR). The dataset also includes variables associated with drought events, including climatic water balance (CWB) for multiple time periods, stand age (AGE), topographic wetness index (TWI), the first principal component of soil properties (PC_soil), and historical and recent acidic deposition (PCA_dep80 and PCA_dep10). The dataset aims to improve understanding of how past and present acidic deposition, together with meteorological conditions and stand characteristics, influence the ability of the main Central European tree species to cope with current drought events.
