Seaweed in the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea 2022-08-22

Aircraft mapping of seagrass meadows since 1991 as part of the Trilateral Monitoring Programme (TMAP). 2 density classes of closed stocks are recorded. The identification of the surfaces from the sports aircraft is only possible from about 25% coverage, Zostera noltii and Z. marina are not distinguished. The results are entered in maps according to the observations, and the positional inaccuracies are greater for remote stocks.
