This spreadsheet contains the experimental dataset used in the article “Long-term no-till cropping systems enhance nutrient balance and rainwater use efficiency while increasing grain yields.” It compiles information from long-term field experiments, including the description of cropping systems and experimental blocks, annual grain yield data (kg/ha) for soybean, maize, rice, and beans cultivated between 2006 and 2013, measurements of soil chemical properties such as phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and sulfur at different depths (0–20, 20–40, and 40–60 cm), and estimates of soil carbon and nitrogen stocks. Altogether, the dataset integrates crop performance and soil fertility indicators to evaluate the effects of long-term no-till systems on yield sustainability, nutrient balance, and soil quality.
