Impact of Digital Financial Inclusion on Economic Resilience: A Spatial Panel Analysis of Direct and Spillover Effects

This study examines the impact of digital financial inclusion (DIF) on economic resilience across Asian countries using a balanced panel dataset of 150 observations. Economic resilience is measured by a composite index (ER_index), while control variables include urban population, trade openness, employers’ ratio, gross national expenditure (GNE), and inflation. The dataset is structured in panel format (country–year) and calibrated to reflect realistic statistical properties and empirical relationships. A simulated version of the dataset is also provided to reproduce the main regression and spatial econometric results, ensuring transparency and facilitating replication of the study.
