Winter wheat Yaomai16 with low-Cd-grain accumulation were subjected to cadmium stress, the transcriptome changes of root system were measured to identify genes and metabolic pathways related to Cd absorption and accumulation.our study might increase our understanding of complex molecular mechanisms that regulate plant responses to Cd stress and help develop new improved wheat varieties with low Cd content in the grain.
