Neutrophil transcriptome in community acquired pneumonia and age matched controls

Community acquired pneumonia (CAP) is a leading cause of hospitalistion and is associated with high mortality and morbidity. Neutrophils from CAP donors display altered functions, and these altered functions are associated with adverse outcomes.
