The Geology of The basement Formation at Mufulira Mine

The copper mineralisation at Mufulira mine is largely influenced by the structural geology of the underlying basement formation. i was investigating the possible association between the basement formation and the distribution of mineralisation in the overlying units. this was largely done through mapping, loggin of diamond core, assaying and petrographic analysis of the basement units and the overlying ore bearing units.
