eDNA dataset

This dataset encompasses macroinvertebrate diversity data from the Burhatong and Hailan Rivers within China's Tumen River Basin, collected in June 2022. It includes ethanol - based eDNA metabarcoding data covering 174 taxa, and water - sample eDNA metabarcoding data identifying 212 taxa. This information is crucial for analyzing biodiversity assessment methods and serves as a resource for future research on freshwater habitats and eDNA applications.
