Wind Reversals During Morning and Evening Transitions in a Small Valley

This dataset includes processed WRF model outputs and meteorological observations for a study on atmospheric and land–atmosphere interactions in complex terrain.The model component consists of two WRF simulations (CTRL and MOD experiments) with three nested domains, providing processed surface and near-surface variables including 2-m temperature, 10-m wind, surface fluxes, radiation, and temperature differences.The observational component contains high-frequency (1-minute) meteorological measurements collected from an observation tower located in Innisfree Village, Virginia, USA, covering the years 2020–2021. Variables include wind, temperature, humidity, radiation, precipitation, and additional sensor diagnostics.This dataset is intended to support reproducibility of the associated manuscript and facilitate further studies of boundary layer processes in mountainous terrain.
