Effects of Agency on Behavior and Cognitive Control

This repository contains the preprocessed EEG data associated with the study “Transient and Sustained Effects of Agency Disruptions on Behavior and Proactive Control”. Participants performed a cued perceptual discrimination task in which response–outcome contingency was manipulated by introducing occasional response flips. The dataset contains preprocessed, cue-locked EEG epochs used for the electrophysiological analyses reported in the manuscript. The retained epochs also define the trial set underlying the corresponding behavioral analyses, ensuring consistency between behavioral and electrophysiological analyses. Participant identifiers are pseudonymized. The data are provided to enable reproduction of the reported analyses, including the spatiotemporal cluster-based permutation analyses and subsequent analyses of contingent negative variation (CNV).
