时空网格数据服务严格遵循《北斗网格位置码》(GB/T39409-2020)、《地球空间网格编码规则》（GB/T40087-2021）等国家标准，通过该服务可以有效解决多部门中不同标准规范、不同层级、不同格式的多源数据融合共享问题，为大数据融合需求强烈的智慧城市、规划、国土、测绘、灾害应急、农业、林业、水利/供水、旅游、电力、燃气等行业领域提供实现跨时空、跨部门、跨层级、跨系统、跨时空的数据服务。
The Spatiotemporal Grid Data Service strictly complies with national standards including BeiDou Grid Position Code (GB/T 39409-2020) and Geospatial Grid Coding Rules (GB/T 40087-2021). This service effectively addresses the issues of integrated sharing of multi-source data with inconsistent standards, specifications, hierarchies and formats across multiple departments, and provides cross-spatiotemporal, cross-departmental, cross-hierarchical and cross-system data services for industries with strong demand for big data integration, such as smart cities, planning, land resources, surveying and mapping, disaster emergency response, agriculture, forestry, water conservancy/water supply, tourism, electric power, natural gas and other fields.
