California Native Plant Society

Provides inventory of rare and endangered plants of California. Lists plants using both scientific as well as common names, provides locations of plant populations, and incorporates some life history aspects for each plant. Also includes photographs and indicates whether the species is either federally or state listed rare, threatened, or endangered. The web-site has a query option in its on-line inventory, as well search indexes under family name, common name, county, and topo-quads.
