资源简介:
Jingchao Zhou & Tao Liu's original data
This dataset provides a multifaceted characterization of soil organic carbon (SOC) across multiple soil samples, encompassing a wide range of biogeochemical indicators. The data were collected to support research on soil carbon dynamics, microbial community function, and the molecular composition of organic carbon in tea plantation soils. The dataset includes quantitative measurements of SOC content and stock, carbon functional groups determined by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, microbial biomass indicators via phospholipid fatty acids (PLFAs), extracellular enzyme activities, amino sugars, lignin-derived phenolic compounds, and related biogeochemical parameters.
Key Variables Included:
SOC Content (g kg⁻¹): Soil organic carbon concentration per unit mass.
SOC Stock (kg m⁻²): Soil organic carbon stock per unit area.
NMR-Based Carbon Fractions (%):

Sample Identification:
Samples are labeled as FD-1, FD-2, FD-3, CN-1, CN-2, CN-3, CM217-1, CM217-2, CM217-3, CC3-1, CC3-2, CC3-3, suggesting soils of different tea varieties (e.g., forest, cropland, managed plots).
Potential Applications:
Studying soil carbon sequestration mechanisms
Linking microbial community structure to carbon cycling
Assessing organic matter stability and decomposition
Modeling carbon turnover in soils
Methods:
Data were generated using standardized protocols including:
Elemental analysis for SOC
¹³C NMR for carbon speciation
PLFA extraction and GC analysis for microbial biomass
Fluorometric assays for enzyme activities
GC-MS for lignin phenolics and amino sugars
Quality Control:
Replicates are included for each sample type (e.g., triplicates for CN, CM217, CC3), ensuring robustness and reproducibility.
Usage Notes:
This dataset is suitable for researchers in soil science, biogeochemistry, ecology, and environmental science. It can be used for meta-analysis, model validation, or as a reference for similar soil types.
