The phyloseq object contains amplicon sequence variants (ASV) and associated sample data collected from six patients infected with tuberculosis (LTBI) and six healthy controls. The LTBI patients were treated with a rifamycin-based regimen for 5 - 6 months. Each patient provided 5 stool samples for sequencing: one before initiating treatment, 3 during the duration of the treatment, and a final sample collected two months after treatment completion. The controls did not receive the rifamycins but were sampled in parallel with the LTBI patients. <br>
