S1-GRiTS: Gridded Monthly Descending-Pass Sentinel-1 Backscatter Composites and Mosaic for Mainland Ecuador, January 2026

This component contains national-scale gridded Sentinel-1 monthly composite products for mainland Ecuador in January 2026, generated from descending-pass observations by S1-GRiTS. The data were produced as part of the S1-GRiTS Data Cubes and were used to generate the national-scale mosaic demonstration in the associated manuscript. The released files include MGRS-tile-level GeoTIFF products (UTM Zone), a portable VRT mosaic (EPSG:4326), intermediate reprojected VRT files, visualization outputs, and machine-readable metadata files. The total of tiles is 40. The VRT files use relative source paths and are intended to remain valid after the component directory is downloaded and extracted, provided that the internal directory structure is preserved.
