Galesburg Employee Residency Area

>All employees represented by the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), Public Safety Employees' Organization (PSEO) and American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) hired by the City are required to obtain residency within the State of Illinois and 45 miles of City Hall no later than 30 days after the end of their probationary period. Response time requirements are independent of residency requirements.
