Clinicopathological and Genetic Landscape of Myelodysplastic Syndrome: A Study from Pakistan

Genetic landscape of Myelodysplastic Syndrome and its prognostic relevance for Pakistani population. The targeted gene panel sequencing (Whole Exome Sequencing) was performed on a set of nine MDS samples. Extracted DNA samples were amplified in a multiplex PCR followed by tagging with sample-specific indexes and sequencing adapters and ran on Illumina HiSeq platform. With a mean read length of 240 base pairs and an average sequencing depth of >600x, a coverage of more than 100x was achieved for >95% target bases.
