资源简介:

This dataset provides a versioned release of the Archival Texts of the Middle Assyrian Period (ATMAP/TCMA), an open digital corpus of Middle Assyrian documentary texts developed within the Open Richly Annotated Cuneiform Corpus (Oracc). ATMAP brings together texts from Aššur and numerous provincial and external findspots that are otherwise dispersed across more than a century of text editions, excavation reports, journal articles, and museum publications. The corpus includes transliterations, linguistic annotation and lemmatization, English translations for a substantial proportion of the material, and structured metadata concerning provenance, archival context, chronology, text type, museum and excavation numbers, and publication history. Version 1.1 contains 2,284 catalogue records, of which 2,228 are classified linguistically as Middle Assyrian. The corpus contains 2,280 ATF transliterations, of which 2,267 are lemmatized. English translations are available for 1,876 records, and archival assignments for 2,031 records. Version 1.1 corrects the initial archived release by adding the individual machine-readable Oracc text files that were inadvertently absent from version 1.0. The present package contains 2,262 individual per-text JSON files. A small number of texts listed in the current ATF index are not yet represented by individual JSON files because of unresolved or outdated subproject exports; these are identified in the accompanying README and may be added in later releases. The dataset is intended to support philological, linguistic, archival, historical, prosopographical, and computational research on Middle Assyrian sources. It represents a frozen version of the continuously updated ATMAP/TCMA corpus available through Oracc at http://oracc.org/tcma/. Version: 1.1Creator: Jacob Jan de RidderPrimary language of the texts: Middle Assyrian AkkadianData formats: Oracc JSON export, including catalogue, corpus, lexical and index data, together with individual per-text corpus JSON files. The source transliterations are encoded in Oracc's ASCII Transliteration Format (ATF).
