资源简介:
It is attractive for immunologists to understand how human reproductive immunity develop and function during pregnancy as abnormality of which may cause an array of reproductive complications including recurrent spontaneous abortion, preeclampsia, intrauterine growth restriction. Remarkable progress has been achieved in this field in recent decades, however, majority of the knowledges and outcomes were concluded based on ordinary rodent models. Considering the huge divergences between human and rodent immunity, whether of these achievements can be applied in human for relevant diseases remain largely uncertain. Humanized mouse models with human immune system reconstitution are known as one of the best in vivo tools to study basic human immunology and immune disorders, bridging bench discovery with clinic therapy. However, there is still no reports demonstrating the feasibility of using humanized mice to model human reproductive immunity formation and function in the period of pregnancy due to the technical challenges.
