RNAsequencing of Ligilactobacillus agilis grown on Inulin and Lactose

RNAsequening revolutionized the bacterial gene expression analysis. The objective of this study was to identify the genes involved in metabolism of Inulin in Ligilactobacillus agilis. We have obtained a list of genes upregulated in Ligilactobacillus agilis when it is grown in 1% Inulin Overall design: Illumina RNAseq was conducted on RNA extracted from five samples of Ligilactobacillus agilis (n=5) grown in 1% Insulin and five samples of Ligilactobacillus agilis grown in 1% glucose.
