The study was aimed to isolate and characterize pesticide mineralizing and plant growth-promoting endophytic bacteria from tomato plants to the development of biofertilizer to promote sustainable development of Bangladesh. To this end, the bacterium was isolated from tomato plant roots which have Azotobacter medium indicating nitrogen-fixing capability without association or symbiotically to the plants, plant growth-promoting traits including indole acetic acid production (in vitro), ACC deaminase activity, and phosphate solubilizing activity.
