Dynamic succession of soil microbial community during continuous cropping of Astragalus membranaceus Bge. var. mongholicus (Bge.)

In this work, we evaluated the rhizosphere soil bacterial and fungal communities of A.mongolicus under different years of continuous cropping, which a traditional Chinese herb has been officially documented in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, during the different sampling stages by amplicon sequencing and the enzyme activity resulting from different continuous cropping years were characterized. It aims to determine the phylogenetic affiliations of the most common and predominant populations of soil bacteria and fungi under a continuous cropping regime, intend to providing new insights into the mechanism of replant disease of A. mongolicus in continuous cropping system.
