By collecting and analyzing regional consumer spending data related to trash bins across the country, this dataset aims to understand consumers' purchasing power and consumption preferences for trash bins, determine whether the product is selling well, and develop service strategies for all consumers in the trash bin industry to better provide personalized products and services. It helps trash bin manufacturers better understand their consumers: specifically, communicate with high-tier consumers 1 to 2 times per month, mid-tier consumers 1 to 2 times per quarter, and low-tier consumers 1 to 2 times every six months, so as to formulate more precise production and marketing strategies.
1. Data Collection: Collect quarterly transaction data related to trash bins from consumers.
2. Data Processing: Classify, merge and accumulate the collected data to facilitate subsequent analysis.
3. Algorithm Processing: Conduct demand analysis on the processed data. The demand index P is calculated as P = { (a1 / b1) + (a2 / b2) } * k, where a1 refers to the minimum order quantity per transaction, b1 refers to the minimum consumption amount per transaction, a2 refers to the maximum order quantity per transaction, b2 refers to the maximum consumption amount per transaction, and k is the consumption coefficient. The value of k varies based on the economic region where the consumer is located. The country is divided into four major economic regions: Eastern Region, Northeastern Region, Central Region and Western Region. According to empirical values, k is set to 1.1 for the Eastern Region, 1.15 for both the Northeastern and Central Regions, and 1.2 for the Western Region.
4. Data Classification and Grading: Divide consumers into three tiers based on the calculated demand index: consumers with a score above 30 are marked as "high-tier", those with a score between 20 and 30 are marked as "mid-tier", and those with a score below 20 are marked as "low-tier".
